Pro theme · Ambient New Tab for Chrome & Edge
Strawberry pink, orchid, orange and lime smoke folding through each other over a deep teal ground. The Phthalo fluid engine with the colours turned up, blended so they never turn to mud.
Free to install. Gelato Smoke unlocks with Pro, $19 once, no subscription.
Gelato Smoke runs the same live fluid simulation as Phthalo Smoke but carries four dyes at once. The colours are blended "strongest wins, soft seams," so pink and lime stay clean where they meet, and thick smoke goes creamy like a scoop.
Nothing is a video. The scene is generated live on your graphics card with WebGL, so it never loops and never looks the same twice.
Ambient New Tab is free to install, with three free themes. Gelato Smoke is a Pro theme. Pro is a one-time $19 purchase, no subscription, and it unlocks every Pro theme, music sync, and every theme we release in the future. You can preview Gelato Smoke full screen before you buy: open the Themes panel and rest your mouse on it. Changed your mind? 14-day refund, no questions.
Same engine and colours; Gelato Light puts them on a bright sky-blue ground with dark clock text, Gelato Smoke on dark teal with white text.
It is a Pro theme. Pro is a one-time $19 purchase, no subscription, that unlocks every Pro theme, music sync, and every future theme.
WebGL2 with floating-point textures, which every recent Chrome on a desktop or laptop has. Without it a drifting procedural version stands in.
No. It's a desktop browser extension for Chrome and Edge on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. If you're reading this on a phone, send yourself the link.
