Pro theme · Ambient New Tab for Chrome & Edge
A forest floor at night, seen close up: ferns in three depths, a column of moonlight between dark trunks, and a hundred fireflies with glowing amber tails. They hover, dash, land on fronds that dip under them, and draw ribbons of light.
Free to install. Fireflies unlocks with Pro, $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year. Cancel anytime.
Fireflies is a macro view of a fern bed after dark, shot like a film: a sharp bed of fronds in the middle, soft dark fronds framing the edges, and moonlight breaking into pale blue discs between the trunks behind.
Nothing is a video. Every fern, firefly and disc of moonlight is drawn live on your graphics card with WebGL.
Ambient New Tab is free to install, with three free themes. Fireflies is a Pro theme. Pro is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year, cancel anytime, and it unlocks every Pro theme, music sync, and every new theme as we release it. You can preview Fireflies full screen before you buy: open the Themes panel and rest your mouse on it. Changed your mind? 14-day refund, no questions.
